Handling a box of that non-official “Judge Dredd” in 1/6th, I had remembered that there was to be a another non-official Judge Anderson” (which I had mistaken to be THIS version which I really wanted :p), and that I was ready to bite the bullet and chomp down hard to collecting 1/6th again … alas dude at the counter said Anderson had not arrived yet … I left dejected, but somewhat "relieved" I dodged a bullet ... or so I thought...

Leaving CSC and bumped into an old friend at the pedestrian crossing (thanks Vincent!), and I mentioned the Dredd/Anderson, to which he said the figure is already out, just that it was another store (which I did not frequent) … a few steps away from CSC, before I turned round, went to said shop and bit the bullet! And if only the shop took electronic “NETS” payment, I would be two-man squad strong today!

A review when I have them together side by side, because how else can you collect these two? “NO” Dredd Sequel yet? I’ll just make do and relive them via these Art Figures 1/6th then :)

Both excited and scared at the same time ... Been down this slippery slope decades back, and am beginning to feel the urge again ... To collect 1/6, I mean! LOL #toylife

Received my Little Shadow V2 from ThreeA Toys not too long ago (nostalgic musings on TOYSREVIL), and decided to do a quick visual review of it against a setting sun, and the result was less than satisfying so I'd decided to redo it for later … meanwhile, here are some snaps uploaded on my Instagram @toysrevil thus far, along with some thoughts in the caption, to share here on this blog.

I really like the height differentiation here ... I'd always grappled with sizes and heights of 1/6-scaled figures thru the years, and had alway looked out for variations, in order to have a more "realistic" collection of faux people rather than all same height same build lol ... a mash-up of a Dunny-head with a Dragon-femme body, whose missing a boot becoz "she's" just woken up from a wild party the night before (actually, the other boot is really missing LOL) - done for a cyber-friend running a toywebsite (Dunny.NL). wearing a white G.I.Joe-hoodie and nothing else (*cough*) - i've always liked Dragon-femme bodies, quite adaptive with rigid joints (important, IMHO) and a stub-neckpost that works best when im bashing mishmash-figures like these! LOL

i'd wanted to replicate their original image with my own Father-X, but i could't find him! luckily Mrs Claus was hanging around and came in handy (:p). on hindsight, maybe i could've given her all-black-shades, to up the "danger"-factor (*cough*) LOL
